With Labor Day (Sept. 6, 2021) on the horizon, it’s time to plan the ins and outs of your relaxation-filled holiday weekend, from special happy hours to discounted resort stays and much more.

The Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix will be offering a 5-7-9 Happy Hour from 4 to 6 p.m. on Labor Day weekend only, including $5 beers, $7 wines by the glass, $9 Old Fashioned and specially priced bites at Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails. On Friday night, Sept. 3, there will be live music by Clayton Trussell.

Roaring Fork in Scottsdale celebrates the Labor Day holiday with extended happy hour pricing all night long from 4 p.m. to close in the bar and saloon. Dishes include chicken tinga tacos, smoked chicken wings, Roaring Fork’s Big Ass Burger and more.

Octane Raceway in Scottsdale will open early to get the Labor Day fun started at 10 a.m. Experience the indoor-outdoor race track, and indulge in happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m., with $2 off select apps, $2 off well drinks and 50 percent off drafts.

The WET Deck at W Scottsdale is hosting a Yacht Club-themed pool party to celebrate Labor Day weekend. Starting Friday, Sept. 3, through Monday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., guests can enjoy W Scottsdale’s activated pool party event, featuring resident DJ performances and bottle service.

EAT by Stacey Weber is offering a special barbecue-inspired menu for the holiday weekend. The Labor Day menu, offered for both individual meals or family size includes a kale slaw salad, smoky BBQ ribs and sweet potato mash, bourdon BBQ grilled chicken and mixed beans and butternut squash mac ‘n’ cheese. Pre-orders will be available Monday, August 30, through Thursday, Sept. 2, and will be ready for pick up on Sunday, Sept. 5. EAT’s regular menu is also available.  

Hand Cut Chophouse in Scottsdale is serving up free dessert with the purchase of an entree to diners who make a Sunday through Thursday reservation now through Labor Day. Promotion must be mentioned at time of booking; limit one free dessert per table.

FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel and Match Market & Bar is ringing in the holiday weekend with entertainment, specials and more. The party kicks off Friday, Sept. 3, with live music by McKenzie Hayes from 8 to 10 p.m. On Saturday, from 6 to 10 p.m., FOUND:RE presents its 10th Passport Destination with a White Party, inspired by the Hamptons, on the pool deck.
