For holiday hair, shine is key. I love using Illumina Color by Wella to brighten up pieces around the face as well as add a luxurious shine to hair.

For medium to long hair, the Bumble and bumble round brush set is perfect. It helps hair appear classy and elegant without being uptight. Finished with Bumble and bumble’s Brilliantine and Spray de Mode to add shine and hold.

For shorter hair, a style that is different from one’s everyday style is key. Try changing the part, or adding volume if you usually wear it flat, or a cute little accessory- something to make it stand out for the occasion. Dress the hair with Bumble and bumble’s Semi Sumo to add shine and polish.

During the winter season, it’s fun to style and accessorize with scarves, hats, beanies, gloves, boots and more. But often times your hair’s style is neglected. Here are some of my favorite styling products and tips for creating a hairstyle this season that will look great with minimal effort:

A key part to having healthy hair is using the right products. Our hair becomes dry, just like our skin. It is important to give your hair the moisture it needs. My favorite moisturizing shampoo and conditioner is Bumble & bumble Quenching. Even using the Quenching mask once a week for some more hydration is great and will prevent static, so taking off your beanie won’t be embarrassing!

For styling products I love using Bumble and bumble’s Styling Lotion, Grooming Cream and Hairdressers Invisible Oil. This creates an elegant, soft and shinny look when blowing out.

Some great and easy styles are soft curls by using a 1 1/2″ barrel curling iron. This looks great alone and also with a hair and head scarf. When wearing a beanie or hat, opt for a low side braid, or when wearing a scarf rock a high bun using an elastic and hairpins.

As the seasons change, I love to change my color. For the chilly winter months, violet, deep reds, and other cooler tones are great.

The cold air outside and warm air inside causes our skin and hair to dry out. This lack of moisture can cause hair to produce annoying static. To put moisture back into the hair I recommend Bumble and bumble’s The Quenching Complex for moisture and Invisible Oil for static.
