How to Update Your Northern Arizona Vacation Rental

With so many people wanting to take a weekend getaway, especially as spring break approaches, how will you make sure your Northern Arizona vacation rental stands out? Girl About Town loves helping vacation rental owners upgrade their property and revealed their tips to achieving a dream rental.

Kitchen Upgrade

The kitchen in your vacation rental will make one of the biggest statements to your guests. Do it right like @getawayframe. The cabin’s kitchen features an 11-ft. butcher block island (made from a repurposed bowling alley lane!) with eight barstools, a gas stove, a huge sink, a dishwasher, a built-in microwave drawer, a insta pot, a griddle, a Vitamix, plus an extra fridge and freezer in the laundry room. Furniture Upgrade

A simple furniture upgrade makes a huge difference for your Northern Arizona cabin. @flagstaffcabin decided it was time for a change from their old furniture and is now staying up-to-date with rattan furniture, earth tones, geometric shapes and wooden or black accents.

Fireplace Upgrade

We love this fireplace upgrade from @mundsparkgetaway. Don’t remove the gorgeous original brick in your cabin. A coat of white paint over a brick fireplace brings the area back to life. White will make the room feel more spacious and bright. Add in some new décor, candles, pictures/art or a mirror for a final touch.

Bathroom Upgrade

@getawayframe traded in a standard plastic tub in for a gorgeous walk-in shower with a black accents and tiles for a simple and organized cabin bathroom. Install a bathroom heater or towel warmer for those cold winter days.

Add a Jacuzzi

Lastly, our most recommended upgrade for your Northern Arizona cabin is to include a Jacuzzi/hot tub for your guest’s stay. What better way to enjoy the Northern Arizona snowfall than to soak in a warm hot tub right on the patio? Your vacation rental will be the most sought-after place.
