From the developers behind DC Ranch and other hotspot communities across Phoenix comes One Scottsdale, a 75-acre plot that has begun construction to become the area’s newest retail destination in the years to come.
DMB Associates, Inc. has announced that the construction of One Scottsdale has officially commenced. The plot, making up 75 acres just north of Loop 101 and Scottsdale Road, currently houses the Hilton Home2Suites hotel, popular dining and shopping destinations, medical offices and other various plots soon to be available.
The first new hotel to hit the ground began construction in 2021 and is slated to open sometime in October 2022, while new retail spots are expected to open in the summer of 2023.
South of Legacy Boulevard is another plot of land, making up 54 acres that will connect to One Scottsdale that DMB aims to use as a “mixed-use village.” The company intends to create several residential projects, a potential resort hotel and other lifestyle hotspots like restaurants and shopping areas.
“North Scottsdale has evolved into an incredible, dynamic area. We were honored to play a role in that with DC Ranch and now with One Scottsdale. Because of our proximity to vibrant neighborhoods like Grayhawk, new corporate headquarters along the 101 and thriving luxury hotels, car dealerships and shopping to our south, we’re pleased that our next phases will largely add some additional opportunities to support what is already developed around us,” says Michael Burke, DMB Senior Vice President of Commercial Development in a press release.
One Scottsdale will be up and running with everything in the works within the next seven to 10 years.
