St. Vincent de Paul Launches Dignity Drive

To ensure that all women have a bra–one of life’s most basic needs that offers a variety of health and emotional benefits–St. Vincent de Paulā€™s Women in Service and Hope (WISH) group launched the Dignity Drive to collect new or gently used bras all month long for the Phoenix center.

#StepUpWithPCH in September

In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Phoenix Childrenā€™s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders is asking the Valley to #StepUpWithPCH during September. In 2020 alone, 387 children were newly diagnosedĀ with cancer at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

New Phoenix Nonprofit: Maricopa Animal Safe Haven

In recent weeks, Maricopa County Sherriffā€™s Office (MSCO) Animal Safe Haven Unit announced the founding of Maricopa Animal Safe Haven (MASH), a 501c3 nonprofit with a mission to provide appropriate medical care for animals, work with the judicial system to determine ownership, and eventually ensure the animals are rehomed. The goal of the nonprofit is to raise the funds required to build a wholly new facility in Phoenix for the animals in the Safe Haven Unit.
