Nonprofit of the Month: Future for KIDS

Since the early 90’s, Tempe-based Future for KIDS has provided free out-of-school, mentor-driven programs and camps that focus on academics, athletics and ethics activities for youth who face adversity. New Phoenix Nonprofit: Maricopa Animal Safe Haven

In recent weeks, Maricopa County Sherriff’s Office (MSCO) Animal Safe Haven Unit announced the founding of Maricopa Animal Safe Haven (MASH), a 501c3 nonprofit with a mission to provide appropriate medical care for animals, work with the judicial system to determine ownership, and eventually ensure the animals are rehomed. The goal of the nonprofit is to raise the funds required to build a wholly new facility in Phoenix for the animals in the Safe Haven Unit.
