April 15 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
On April 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. nearly 500 real estate professionals will embrace their inner athletes and take the field at Scottsdale Stadium to participate in the 2022 Olympiad, hosted by the Scottsdale 20/30 Club.
This signature annual fundraiser for the organization will include teams of real estate professionals competing in cornhole, basketball, football, and putter ball competitions – all while raising money for children’s charities. And this year, for the first time ever, the public is invited to get in on the FUNdraising as spectators. A $100 ticket provides entry to the event, food and drink all day, live music, a swag bag, and a spectator area to participate in all the same events as the Olympiad competitors.
For months, team captains have been working hard with teams of eight members to raise funds for the Olympiad through donations, sponsorships, and raffle tickets. Residential real estate professionals are competing under the Agents Benefiting Children (ABC) umbrella, and commercial real estate professionals are competing under the Brokers for Kids (BFK) umbrella.
This year’s Olympiad event beneficiaries are Boys Hope Girls Hope and The Care Fund. Boys Hope Girls Hope currently serves 90 youth (16 in residence, 42 in the community-based program and 32 in college) helping them become well-educated, career-ready men and women. The Care Fund financially supports Arizona families enduring financial hardship while experiencing extended illness or injury to their children, providing mortgage and/or rent support during the child’s extended health crises to help the family avoid potentially losing their home during the financial burden of unanticipated medical bills to care for their children.
