20th Annual Camp Verde Pecan & Wine Festival 2021
April 17 - April 18
On Saturday, April 17 – Sunday, April 18, 2021, the Verde Valley Wine Consortium and the Town of Camp Verde will be co-hosting the 20th Annual Camp Verde Pecan & Wine Festival in Camp Verde, Arizona.
The event, which is sponsored by SRP, Yavapai College and Larry Green Chevrolet, was originally canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19. However levels have continued to decline enough that the town will be able to safely host this long-standing two-day festival celebrating two of the areas prime tourism draws – wine and pecans.
Held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 17 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 18 in downtown Camp Verde (75 E Hollamon Street, Camp Verde, AZ 86322), the two-day festival will feature anywhere from 8-12 Arizona wineries along with a variety of pecans for pairing, a very competitive Pecan Pie contest, a Budweiser Beer Garden hosted by the Verde Valley Rangers, food trucks, live music and local artisans.
The festival’s new COVID-19 safety precautions include socially distanced vendors/attractions and additional cleaning and sanitizing of all public areas, including restrooms, staff areas, work tables, wine tasting tables, and all public seating. Face masks are encouraged when unable to socially distance.
The Arizona-based wineries that will be in attendance (with more to be announced soon), pouring their newest releases by the glass, bottle and case, include: Alcantara Vineyards, Burning Tree Cellars, Carlson Creek Vineyard, Clear Creek Vineyards, Heart Wood Cellars, Page Springs, Salt Mine Wine, Southwest Wine Center, and Winery 101.
Entry to the festival – for all ages – is FREE. Wine tasting tickets (for attendees 21+) will be available at the door day-of for $20/person, which includes a commemorative glass and six wine tasting tickets. Additional wine tasting tickets will be available for purchase at the event.
