27th Annual Hidden in the Hills Artist Studio Tour
November 24 - November 26FREE
Sonoran Arts League’s 27th Annual Hidden in the Hills Artist Studio Tour returns Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 17-19 and Nov. 24-26. This year’s free, self-guided tour features 164 artists at 41 studios throughout the scenic Desert Foothills communities of Cave Creek, Carefree and North Scottsdale.
Now in its 27th year, this artist studio tour offers seasoned collectors and art enthusiasts a rare chance to observe artists at work in their private studios during the six-day event. The studio tour also attracts holiday shoppers seeking original and unique gifts.
On this artist studio tour, discover 164 artists at 41 studios spread across the communities of Cave Creek, Carefree, and North Scottsdale. Each studio offers an intimate setting allowing you to observe artists at work, discover the perfect holiday gifts, commission a new piece of artwork, learn more about a new medium, and support the richly talented artists of the Sonoran Arts League.
Over the summer, participating artists were invited to submit original pieces for consideration of the tour directory cover during a selection process. Ceramic artist Sharon Albrektsen’s fanciful sculpture, “Bee Free,” graces the cover of this year’s popular four-color, glossy artist directory. The surreal piece depicts a fairytale-like woman setting a bee free.
