4Mom Classic Weekend

4MOM Charity will host its inaugural 4Mom Classic Weekend, a momentous two-day event in Phoenix, to raise much needed funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s community. 4MOM was created by MLB Players, Braden and Hunter Bishop, after their mother, Suzy Bishop, was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s in 2014.

Guests are invited to join the Bishop Family, several MLB players, and professional athletes in a host of 4MOM Classic Weekend events that includes the Phoenix Walk to End Alzheimer’s, poolside parties at Arizona Biltmore, golf tournaments and more.

To add to the roster of exciting events, 4MOM will host a Sunset Social, honoring former college women’s basketball coach, Kevin Morrison. Kevin is this year’s recipient of the Suzy B. Spirit award, a new accolade from the 4MOM family that will be given annually to an individual who embodies spirit, strength, courage, hope and resilience. In Spring of 2020 Coach Morrison started forgetting words and had trouble recalling information. He thought it was stress from coaching yet unbeknownst to Kevin and his family the diagnosis would be deemed Early Onset Alzheimer’s.

4MOM has started a grant program to raise funds for 48-year-old Kevin, his wife, Heather, their 9-year-old (Jayce) and 7-year-old triplets (Mya, Jaylen, and Myles). All proceeds from the weekend will go directly toward the 4MOM Charity, helping to raise funds for research, caregiver support, its Morrison Family grant and ultimately making steps forward to 4Mom’s first mission for The World’s First Survivor of Alzheimer’s.

Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, at 7:30 to 10 a.m.: Team #Unite4MOM will join forces with #MorrisonStrong and are looking for supporters to participate in the 2021 Walk to End ALZ in at Wesley Bolin Plaza in Phoenix.

Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, at 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.: Time to have fun in the sun while raising funds for grant programs, caregiver support and more. Join the 4MOM Family at the Saguaro Pool at Arizona Biltmore for live music, swimming and relaxing. Be sure to stick around for the Sunset Social with live auctions, an award ceremony, entertainment and more.

Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021, at 7:30 a.m., Shotgun start at 9 a.m.: The #Golf4MOM event will be a fun and competitive tournament with limited opportunities to golf with MLB stars and other pro athletes. The tournament will conclude with a post-golf reception featuring the golf awards presentation and grub on the greens at Arizona Biltmore.
