Friends for Life hosts its annual golf fundraiser, All “FORE” the Animals, taking place April 26 at Superstition Springs Golf Club in Mesa. All proceeds from the event directly benefit the Gilbert no-kill rescue.
Check-in from 6:30 to 7:15 a.m.; shotgun start will begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is this year’s Presenting Sponsor. It was founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is an American fast casual chain specializing in chicken fingers, and known for using fresh, never frozen chicken, that is hand-battered and marinated for over 24 hours. The award-winning chicken fingers are served with their signature Cane’s sauce, made fresh daily in-house.
The event includes 18 holes of golf with cart; a variety of contents; awards lunch with prizes for first, second, and third place; a raffle; and range balls and scoring with Golf Genius. Cost also includes a Classic Cantina & Taco Bar Awards Luncheon featuring carne asada and pollo asada, refried beans and Spanish rice, fresh tortilla chips and salsa with a variety of toppings and assorted churros.
