Anhelo Charity Wine Dinner

Chef/Owner Ivan Jacobo of the award-winning fine-dining kitchen, Anhelo, and an Estrella Mountain Community College alum, is giving back to the Estrella community by launching the Anhelo Restaurant Scholarship Foundation and hosting a wine dinner on Thursday, March 23, at 6 p.m.
The goal is to raise funds to award four full-ride scholarships to the Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Culinary Arts program at Estrella Mountain Community College. This would cover costs, including tuition, materials, books and tool kits for four students.
Seats must be reserved through OpenTable and are priced at $600 per person, which will include award-winning wine pairings from around the world, with an option to add on the $400 Chef’s Section featuring caviar, a glass of 2009 Cheval Blanc, and exclusive wines from the Chef and Wine Director’s personal cellar. All of the proceeds will benefit the Anhelo Restaurant Scholarship Foundation. Plus, under Chef Ivan and the Anhelo staff’s supervision, students from the college will be putting their skills to the test in the kitchen and will be serving guests in attendance.
