“Bartender’s Table” at Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlor

Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlor, Downtown Phoenix’s original craft cocktail establishment, announces “Bartender’s Table,” a special series of classes running bi-monthly for enthusiasts of elevated bartending, whether they’re newbies or seasoned imbibers. The series will kick off on Tuesday, July 15, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and will be led by proprietor Ross Simon, and head bartender, Sam Babalola.

This interactive session offers a hands-on approach at the bar, allowing participants to directly apply what they learn—from measuring spirits, adding modifiers, shaking and stirring, garnishing, and presentation. Ideal for both newcomers and those seeking to refine their mixing abilities, the class will equip attendees with the knowledge to elevate their bartending at home, as they will also be learning about the spirits offered, and the history behind each cocktail.

Attendees will gain vital skills for cocktail creation: perfecting technique, perfect dilution, and elegant presentation that will upgrade home bartending abilities. This class is great for newcomers, those seeking to improve their mixing abilities with a variety of techniques and high-quality spirits, or mingling with other like-minded bartending enthusiasts. Guests will learn how to make three of Bitter & Twisted’s most popular cocktails, made with premium spirits like Patron Tequila, Grey Goose Vodka, and Angel’s Envy bourbon. Patrons will complete the class with confidence and get the recipes that are sure to amaze at their next get-together—no prior knowledge needed.
