Battle of the Boxes

Pipeline Worldwide, an organization dedicated to serving as a conduit for facilitating connections between donors and vulnerable communities in East Africa, will host a special Battle of the Boxes exhibit on Oct. 22 to Oct. 24.
At the event, attendees will have an opportunity to tour a real-life exhibit of a refugee settlement in northern Uganda. The tour will showcase the conditions in which healthcare workers are currently living, the medical equipment and facilities currently available, and the challenges of living in a third-world country.
Also on display will be suggested solutions to these problems. Among those solutions is volunteers from top firms working on converting shipping containers to create self-sustainable living quarters for medical personnel. A goal of the event is to raise $100,000 to send these containers overseas to the people who need them.
Tour groups will be limited to 10 people at a time. Tickets are $15 for students and $25 for adults. A virtual silent auction will also be held.
Based on the needs voiced by local leaders, Pipeline Worldwide acts as impact catalysts by providing funding, time and resources for projects that will deliver access to clean water, sanitation, education and healthcare in the most impoverished regions.
