Bends and Brunch for Homeward Bound

In preparation of National Homelessness Awareness Month, Homeward Bound, a Phoenix-based nonprofit that offers effective programs to break the cycle of poverty for homeless families in Arizona, announces the formation of an exclusive society called The Thread. Membership requires monthly donations to Homeward Bound that will provide immediate and sustaining support for families working through the organization’s program. 

The Thread was created in time to support Homeward Bound’s annual Bends and Brunch fundraiser on Sunday, Nov. 8, at Chaparral Park in Scottsdale. The Pilates class and brunch event will be hosted outdoors, attendees will be provided with masks, and measures will be taken to ensure a safe and socially distant environment. Interested participants also can attend the class virtually.

Members of The Thread are invited to the Achievers Dinner, a graduation ceremony held for the families that complete the Homeward Bound program. In the past, donors were not allowed to attend the annual event. Likewise, The Thread will have access to a private community message board, regular social events and insider Homeward Bound updates and announcements.
