Blues, Brews & BBQ Brunch – Agave Heritage Festival Takeover

As part of the weekend of celebrations taking place April 10 to April 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., The Canyon Club at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort will host a special agave takeover at its award-winning Blues, Brews & BBQ Brunch on Sunday, April 13. This special event will bring a unique and flavorful twist to the community’s vibrant celebration of agave, featuring a special selection of agave-infused barbecue flavors as well as live blues music, and local draft beers, tequila and mezcal tastings, as well as a lineup of agave cocktails.
Led by Executive Chef Ryan Clark, the resort’s culinary team is creating a special agave-forward menu to celebrate all-things agave. Mesquite items will include a pork belly porchetta with an agave-jalapeno glaze, margarita marinated rotisserie chicken, grilled salmon with mezcal BBQ sauce, while a seafood bar will feature shrimp cocktail with a tequila cocktail and mezcal-mango sauce, tequila poached shrimp ceviche, and Hamachi, salmon and tuna sashimi with a tequila-lime vinaigrette.
Desserts will also get an agave-twist. Specialty sweets will include a margarita tartlet, agave-pineapple upside-down cake, and tequila passion fruit crème brûlée.
Agave tastings will also be provided by Patron Anejo, Tequila Ocho Plata, Weber Ranch Vodka, while a special menu highlighting agave-based cocktails will include a classic margarita, spicy pineapple margarita, and ranch water.
Adults are $64, kids 6 to 12 are $32, and 5 & under are $16.
