Chef Marcellino’s Holiday Heritage Dinner
December 1 @ 7:00 pm$200
As the holiday season nears, Marcellino Ristorante is planning several December events centered around Italian tradition, delicious cuisine, romantic wines and a sense of gratitude for family and friends. Chef Marcellino Verzinoc and his wife, Sima, have always made the holidays special for their guests, but this year, they are especially grateful to share the magical season with others.
The restaurant will host several December events to honor seasonal traditions, starting with Chef Marcellino’s Holiday Heritage Dinner at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1. The multi-course dinner will pay special tribute to his mother, grandmother and aunts.
Because of social-distancing rules, the intimate event is limited to 12 guests. As Chef Marcellino cooks from his wood-burning oven at the Chef’s Island, he will share stories from his childhood and describe his inspiration behind each course served. Sommelier Dario Soldan, owner of Classico Wines, will present and pair wines from Fontanavecchia Vineyards, hailing from Chef Marcellino’s hometown in the Campania region. Each course will be paired with these exceptional wines.
The cost is $200 per person, plus tax and gratuity, and reservations are required.
