$45 – $55The Cuisine and Culture of Día de los Muertos event at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix will take place Thursday, October 28, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
The Cuisine and Culture of Día de los Muertos event at the Desert Botanical Garden features Barrio Cafe owner, Silvana Salcido Esparza and esteemed multimedia artist and community arts advocate, Zarco Guerrero. Día de los Muertos is a holiday honoring our lost loved ones. This tradition is a way to enjoy memories of ancestors by celebrating their favorite foods, music, pastimes and accomplishments.
The evening will feature a presentation on the history of Día de los Muertos by Zarco Guerrero, followed by a dining experience by Silvana Salcido Esparza.
Presentation, meal and one tequila tasting for guests 21 and older are included with ticket price. A cash bar will be available serving beer, wine and margaritas.
Tickets are $55 for general admission and $45 for members.
