Dancing for one•n•ten

Dancing for one•n•ten is back, taking place August 21 at Tempe Center for the Arts and bringing even more shimmer and jaw-dropping dance moves than ever before.

Presented this year by Loverboy, Dancing for one•n•ten, the premier annual fundraising event for the Phoenix-based organization committed to helping lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer youth, is officially slated for Sunday, August 21, at 2 p.m. at the Tempe Center for the Arts. After a hiatus last year, the event is back and this year’s lineup is set to have some of the city’s most dynamic movers and shakers who will make a play for the mirror ball.

In addition to helping Valley youth and young adults between the ages of 11 and 24 find housing, social and employment opportunities, one•n•ten works to encourage self-expression, self-acceptance, leadership development and healthy life choices. Dancing for one•n•ten, now in its 13th year, is one of several key fundraising events held throughout the year that make the nonprofit organization’s efforts and achievements possible.
