Friends for Life Casino Night

Friends for Life, a nonprofit, no-kill shelter in Gilbert, will be celebrating 30 years as one of Arizona’s most noteworthy and recognized animal rescues with its annual Casino Night fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 18, from 7 to 10 p.m.
Friends for Life began advocating for homeless animals in Arizona in 1993 and in its 30 year time span, have saved and re-homed approximately more than 12,000 dogs and cats. The shelter is a privately supported and receives no government assistance or financial support. In 2021, Friends for Life was honored by Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation, that chooses one shelter or foster-based rescue in each state across the country and awards them $5,000 each. Friends for Life’s annual Casino Night is one of the shelters four primary fundraising events of the year.
The Casino Night fundraiser will include casino tables for Black Jack, Craps and Roulette, in addition to a 50/50 raffle. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
$30 donation for one ticket; $50 donation for two tickets. Ticket costs include three beverage tickets for specialty cocktails, beer and wine; and $20 in chips to start. Winning chips at the end of the night are redeemed for raffle tickets. Raffle drawing will be at 9:30 p.m.
