Holiday Happenings at The Wigwam

Ring in the holiday season at The Wigwam, as the renowned resort in Litchfield Park transforms into an enchanting winter wonderland. The magical setting is hosting a plethora of festive activities and events for all ages this season, including a tree lighting ceremony on Friday, Nov. 29, and a series of holiday decorating classes taking place on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.

Nov. 29: Annual Tree-Lighting Ceremony

Kick off the holiday season in style with The Wigwam’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. This magical event welcomes Santa, who arrives in a classic firetruck to light The Wigwam Christmas tree. The fun doesn’t stop there; families can enjoy various activities, including crafts with Santa’s elves, face painting, bouncy houses, and princesses caroling through a festive light path. The magical evening will take place from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

Nov. 30. and Dec. 1: Christmas Design Institute 

Unlock the secrets to decorating like a pro this holiday season with The Wigwam’s Christmas Design Institute, taking place from noon to 4 p.m. in the Kiva Room. This exciting series of classes will walk guests through how to artfully adorn their Christmas trees and homes during Decorate Your Tree Like a Pro, taking place from noon to 2 p.m.; the art of ribbon techniques during Beautiful Bows & Ribbon Techniques, taking place from 2 to 3 p.m.; and how to make your gifts shine during Gift Wrapping 101, running from 3 to 4 p.m. On Dec. 1, the Litchfield Park resort will also host Holiday Wreaths & Swags from 10 a.m. to noon, guiding guests as they learn the basics of crafting stunning wreaths that perfectly match their holiday theme.
Cost: $224.99 for a full-day experience on Saturday and Sunday; $199.99 for a full day on Saturday only ($99.99 for half a day, noon to 2 p.m.); and $49.99 on Sunday only.
