Nick Manson “Reflections on Bill Evans” – Nov. 8 @ 7pm
Two-time EMMY Award-winning Pianist, keyboardist, composer, arranger, audio engineer, producer, and educator, Nick Manson presents a distinctively enjoyable listening experience for all audiences. His versatile performances offer original compositions, classic jazz standards, as well as uniquely arranged favorites from the American Songbook.
DARUMA – Nov. 15 @ 7pm
DARUMA is a fresh contemporary jazz group featuring some of Denver’s finest young talent. Their music reinterprets the jazz aesthetic for the 21st century, taking audiences from deep grooves to intimate ballads to Coltrane-inspired swing, drawing from the tradition of jazz, rock, film music, and neo-soul.
NOLAZ Band – Nov. 22 @ 7pm
NOLAZ Band plays groove and soul music from New Orleans, LA (NOLA) in Arizona (AZ). From The Neville Brothers to Allen Toussaint, traditional brass bands to The Meters, and Lee Dorsey to PJ Morton, there is a particular musical character that stems from New Orleans. NOLAZ Band channels this energy to bring a little NOLA to Arizona. A seven-piece ensemble, NOLAZ Band is led by Ted Belledin (keys, sax, vocals) with vocals, horns, and rhythm. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, NOLAZ Band offers upbeat performances with the option of adding a traditional brass band.
Doors open at 6:00 pm, and the show begins at 7:00 pm.
