Kentucky Derby Lawn Party at the Princess

Join the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess for its annual Kentucky Derby Lawn Party at Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak on May 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. Experience the “fastest two minutes in sports” during the 147th Run for the Roses on plasma screens with festive activities both indoors and out, a live DJ, lawn games, raffle drawings and more.

A traditional Southern-inspired menu presented by Executive Chef Sara Garrant is sure to please, featuring all of your Derby Day favorites like shrimp and grits, Kentucky hot brown, derby pie and much more.

And because the Derby is just as much about fashion as it is horse racing, Southern belles and gents are encouraged to wear their fanciest hats and sharpest suits to compete for spectacular prizes in our men’s and women’s Derby hat and fashion contest.

General admission is $119 per person, with VIP admission being $149 per person (includes beverage package of up to six drinks).
