Lost in Bloom
September 27 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Lost In Bloom, an enchanting pop-up art gallery presented by acclaimed Phoenix photographer Lindsay McOien, will take place at Blok Photo Studio in Phoenix on Friday, Sept. 27, from 6 to 9 p.m. The event will benefit Free Arts, a Valley nonprofit organization that provides therapeutic art programming for children to heal from trauma and abuse.
Valley residents are invited to connect with their community and help children in need at ‘Lost In Bloom’, a one-night celebration that will explore the ingenuous journey of childhood. Guests will relish in a dynamic and bright gallery of floral-inspired artwork, influenced by McOien’s drawings from when she was a child herself. All profits from ‘Lost In Bloom’ print sales will be donated to support Free Arts, a Valley nonprofit organization that provides therapeutic art programs to help children navigate and heal from the trauma of abuse, neglect, and homelessness.
While Lindsay McOien has been a well-regarded photographer for over five years, her love for art started as a child making whimsical drawings just for fun. ‘Lost In Bloom’ not only commemorates McOien rekindling her passion for drawing, but is an opportunity to give back to younger generations who can also rejoice in creating art.
‘Lost In Bloom’ is a celebration of art and its power to ignite creativity, bring people together and evoke joy. For one-night only community members will come together to embark on a journey of the artistic enchantment of childhood while making a true difference by raising funds for Free Arts, a nonprofit that provides supportive mentors and resilience-building programs that change the lives of children in need.
The event is free and open for all community members to attend.
