Lunar Landing Party at W Scottsdale

The countdown is on to the 50th anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 Moon Landing on July 20, 2019. W Scottsdale will celebrate this American milestone with a free space-themed Lunar Landing Party on the hotel’s rooftop WET Deck on Saturday, July 20 from 9pm to 2am.

The Lunar Landing party at W Scottsdale will send guests into orbit and back in time to the excitement of the Space Race during the swinging 60’s. The hotel’s rooftop WET Deck will be transformed into a space-age playground complete with laser lights, rocket ships, LED’s and hazer machines, and an 8-foot-tall Astro-man complete with an American flag.

DJ Joey T will bring the space age into the 21st century by spinning a 60’s inspired playlist mixed with current danceable hits. Hotel staff will don Nasa inspired outfits to welcome guests for lift-off, and attendees are also encouraged to dress the part in 60’s or astronaut-themed style to bring the iconic era to life.

Guests can dance beneath the stars, watch as high-flying aerialists soar above the pool, and snap their own “Moon Landing” photos against a visually stunning outer space backdrop. Throughout the night, specialty Belvedere cocktails will flow along with Budweiser’s Discovery Lager, created specifically to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 and America’s Moon Landing.
