Mariah’s Miracle Fun Run

Join Mariah’s Miracle, a nonprofit organization providing medical equipment and therapy not covered by insurance to Arizona pediatric patients in critical need, for a Fun Run fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 27, at Bullard Wash Park in Goodyear.

Mariah’s Miracle will host its annual 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, January 27, at Bullard Wash Park in Goodyear. Runners (and walkers!) will raise funds for children in immediate need of medical and therapy equipment that will not only advance their physical development, but enable them to find their independence and live a full life.

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, one in four children with special needs have functional limitations that require medical equipment such as wheelchairs, speech therapy tools and cranial helmets for babies that are vital for their physical development. While these resources are determined essential, families can wait up to a year to hear if insurance will cover them. Unfortunately, they are all too often denied and experience the financial strains and emotional stresses of excessive out-of-pocket costs.

Mariah’s Miracle’s mission is to help alleviate these burdens and provide aid to every child in need in order for them to live their fullest lives. Additionally, the organization oversees the entire process of ordering the medical equipment so families and parents can feel truly supported and focus solely on their child’s journey.

Event Itinerary Includes:
Registration starts at 8:00 a.m.
Participants start rallying together for a stretch session at 8:45 a.m.
Mariah’s Miracle recipients will be honored at 8:50 a.m.
Goodyear’s Mayor, Joe Pizzillo will kick off the 5K race at 9:00 a.m.
Goodyear’s Mayor, Joe Pizzillo will kick off the 1 Mile race at 9:15 a.m.
