Memorial Day Cooking Class at Luci’s Healthy Marketplace

Luci’s Healthy Marketplace is hosting a Memorial Day Cooking Class called “So, What Can I Eat Now” on Sunday, May 29, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Rhonda Peters, a Certified Nutritional Counselor and author of the cookbook So, What Can I Eat Now?! Living without Dairy, Soy, Eggs and Wheat, will be demonstrating a couple of her popular healthy, tasty recipes, and sharing tips along the way. Items on the menu include Oven-fried chicken wings, Mustard Greens served with a drizzle of Spicy Vinegar and Corn-less Cornbread Muffins.
The goal is for individuals to learn how to prepare dishes without dairy, soy, eggs, wheat, or corn, identify products that are available to those with food sensitivities or allergies, and obtain information/resource materials about how dairy, soy, eggs or wheat could trigger inflammation in the body and impact one’s immune system.
All attendees of the class will receive a gift bag that includes recipes demonstrated during the class, a 10% off coupon for Luci’s Healthy Marketplace, hand harvested gourmet light grey sea salt. Also, copies of the book will be available for purchase 20% off the retail value.
