Mesa-East Valley Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade and Festival

The Valley is invited to join the City of Mesa and the Mesa-East Valley MLK Committee to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, Jan. 17, 2022. This year’s Mesa-East Valley Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade and Festival theme is “Tomorrow Is Today.”
The festivities will begin with a parade of community groups, organizations, businesses, churches, dance groups, bands, and regional cities. Upon ending their stroll in Downtown Mesa, the celebration will continue with a festival featuring food, vendors and fun activities.
The parade begins at 11 a.m. on Jan. 17, 2022, kicking off on Center Street in Downtown Mesa at Martin Luther King Jr. Way. The parade will continue south on Center Street to First Street, and then travel west on First Street and conclude at Robson. The festival will be located on Macdonald Street, just north of Main Street in Downtown Mesa from noon to 4 p.m.
