New Year’s Eve 2011 Parties in Phoenix

Believe it or not, 2011 is right around the corner already. It’s time to start making New Year’s Eve plans, and Fabulous Arizona has a list of all the best New Year’s Eve parties in the Phoenix and Scottsdale areas.


Hotel Valley Ho

Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale is celebrating the New Year with a retro-themed bash. The party, titled “Guys And Dolls ‘Til Sputnik Falls”, will feature dancing on the ZuZu patio, dinner at ZuZu and a champagne toast on the rooftop at midnight for those coming for dinner.

ZuZu will be offering a four-course menu with two seating times. The 6:30 p.m. seating is $95 per person, and the 9:30 p.m. seating is $125 per person (tax and gratuity not included). Reservations are strongly recommended, as seating is limited. Those reserving a spot at one of the two dinner seatings will receive a ticket to the Sky Line Rooftop, atop the hotel’s seven-story tower, where a complimentary champagne toast will be held at midnight.

W Scottsdale

Ring in the New Year “Carnaval” Style at W Scottsdale. This party will feature a full Samba band, capaweta performers, brightly feathered costumes, fireworks and signature midnight “W” drop and countdown.

Tickets to the event are $50 for women/$100 for men and include a hosted bar from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The hotel also has a special room package for staycationers looking to make a night of it. The New Year’s Eve package includes a Wonderful room stay, complimentary valet, a hosted bar from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and a split of champagne in the room. The package starts at $499 and is based on double-occupancy.

InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa

InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa in Scottsdale is hosting a New Year’s Eve party to ring in 2011. Guests can enjoy the Andalusian inspired ambiance of Montelucia, listen to the musical styling’s of DJ Senbad and dance the night away to favorite songs of the past 3 decades performed by Radio Junket.

Festivities for this New Year’s party begin at 7:00 p.m. and pre-sale tickets are available for $25.

Axis/Radius in Scottsdale will be ringing in 2011 with a “Boardwalk Empire” themed New Year’s Eve bash. Guests are encouraged (though not required) to come dressed in 20’s fashion looking dapper or dressed as a flapper. The evening will include exclusive DJ’s, a casino, blackjack tables, burlesque dancers and complimentary champagne splits for midnight toasts.

The party will begin at 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $25.00 per person or $45.00 per couple. Axis/Radius and Suede 2 club passes are $35.00 per person.

Suede Lounge

Suede Lounge will be hosting an aviation themed New Year’s Eve party, called “New Year’s @ 35,000 Feet”. DJ Aaron Taylor will provide the “in-flight entertainment” that night. The Suede staff will be wearing trendy flight attendant and pilot outfits and will be “popping bottles in the ice, like a blizzard” with champagne toasts.

The party will begin at 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $25.00 per person or $45.00 per couple. Axis/Radius and Suede 2 club passes are $35.00 per person.

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

Stone Rose Lounge at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess will be ringing in 2011 with a vibrant and innovative party called “The Factory – A Celebration of Pop Art.” Featuring Dom Perignon’s Andy Warhol Collection, Stone Rose invites guests decked in chic cocktail attire to party – Andy Warhol style – from 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. on Friday, December 31.

Admission is $25 per person and includes a champagne toast at midnight. Guests who dine in BOURBON STEAK, La Hacienda, The Grill or LV Bistro that evening will receive complimentary admission to the party.

Sushi Roku at W Scottsdale

Ring in the New Year at Sushi Roku’s Red Sun Lounge at W Scottsdale, where guests can enjoy champagne and Japanese bites at midnight while seated under a sky of glittering fireworks.

Seating is available in both the main dining room and Red Sun Lounge at 5:00/5:30, 7:00/7:30, 9:00/9:30 and 10:00/10:30. Make reservations for the early 5:00/5:30 seating and toast the New Year with half priced bottles of wine and sake. Make reservations for 10:00/10:30 in the Red Sun Lounge and capture premier seating for the firework celebration.

American Junkie in Old Town Scottsdale will be hosting a New Year’s Eve bash on December 31. The event will be hosted by over 100 Push Models. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and DJ Steel will be providing the musical entertainment for the night. Guests will enjoy a champagne toast at midnight and party favors.
