Summer Supper Special at Marcellino Ristorante

June 21

Marcellino-Ristorante

The hot summer months are the perfect time to get out of the kitchen and let someone else take care of the cooking. At Marcellino Ristorante, this summer guests can enjoy an Italian culinary adventure, along with dinner entertainment. The restaurant’s popular Summer Supper Special returns from now through September 7. For evening entertainment, the private dining room has been reserved every Tuesday and Wednesday evening from June 20 through September 6 for Dinner and a Movie, and live music will continue throughout the summer.

The Summer Supper Special is a three-course prix fixe dinner for only $49++ per person (limited to six per party), and it is available Tuesday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to close. The menu features a wide variety of sought-after decadent creations, including several starters, numerous entrees, and a homemade dessert to finish.

Antipasto selections include the Caprese featuring imported fresh mozzarella, with sliced tomatoes, garden basil and extra virgin olive oil. The Insalata Organiche is a simple but refreshing salad of organic mixed field greens with aged balsamic dressing. The Cozze appetizer showcases fresh, succulent mussels sautéed with white wine, olive oil and garlic or a light, slightly spicy tomato broth.

For the secondo course, choose from one of Chef Marcellino’s award-winning, handcrafted pastas, Gnocchi Sorrentina. Light and sumptuous, potato-pasta-parmigiano orbs are topped with a fresh tomato sauce and dotted with melted mozzarella. The Pollo Saporito features tender pieces of chicken breast sautéed with fresh mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes and pine nuts, in a light tomato sauce, served with oven roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The Salmone Con Cognac, a wild caught Atlantic salmon filet sauteed in a silky cognac cream flambe, served with creamy mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. End the dinner on a sweet note with house made Tiramisu.

Beginning June 20, on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 5:30 p.m., enjoy a unique evening out with Dinner and a Movie in Marcellino’s private dining room. A great date night, girl’s night or just for fun, up to 10 guests can dine on authentic Italian cuisine, while watching one of six award-winning films that have been selected for their beautiful Italian settings. The use of the room is complimentary, but dinner service is required. Select from the regular menu or Marcellino’s three-course Summer Supper menu.
