Tarbell’s Block Party

Tarbell’s Hospitality, a brand run by award-winning Chef Mark Tarbell, will host a wine event in the parking lot of Camelback East Village on Sunday, May 16, from noon to 4 p.m. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Helping Hands for Single Moms. 

Tarbell’s and The Wine Store will be catering the event with wine and complementary food pairings such as mint watermelon salad, lobster rolls, pulled pork sandwiches, burgers and brats. Premium sparkling, rosé, white and light summer red wines will be provided for wine tasting festivities. Each guest will receive tasting tickets with 15 two-ounce pours. Sodas, water and wine/beer by the glass will be available through food stations and a mini bar. For all members of the Luxury Wine Club, an elite wine membership offered through Tarbell’s Wine Store, there will be exclusive wines available for tasting at this event. The Wine Store will feature a variety of select wines, including those offered for the tastings, with special case pricing for Wine Club members and retail customers. Sale cards will be available for all those in attendance.

The VIP package will include exclusive wine tastings at the event, a five-course wine paired meal, rosé snowcones and a Tarbell’s mystery swag bag. VIP tickets will be limited to 20, with Luxury Club and Wine Club members at The Wine Store offered first claim on the restricted tickets.

At the outdoor event, take advantage of culinary delights, wine tastings, beer tastings, summer cocktails by Tarbell’s mixologists, and enjoy jamming to live music, playing yard games and participating in contests. On the live music stage, a coconut cream pie eating contest will take place, and the winner will receive a free, premium wine bottle from The Wine Store. As a little added bonus contest, the guest with the best hat at the event will also win a high-quality bottle of wine. Valet will be available on the day of the event.

General tickets that include entry, a wine tasting with 15 two-ounce pours and food pairings are $49. Mark’s Wine Club members will receive admission and a tasting ticket for food and wine pairings at the discounted ticket price of $29. Luxury Club members will receive complimentary entry into the event with a tasting of exclusive wines and dish pairings included.  Limited VIP tickets with exclusive wine tastings, a five-course meal, rosé snowcones and a Tarbell’s swag bag will be sold for $300 per person. General tickets can be purchased here. VIP tickets will be offered to club members first before it is available to the public.
