Taste of Tavern Beer Fest at The Phoenician Tavern

The Phoenician Tavern continues its Taste of Tavern dining series on Nov. 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. with a Beer Fest featuring local brewers, AZ Loc-Ale Beer Co and SanTan Brewing & Spirits. The Taste of Tavern events are social dining experiences that showcase a celebration of flavors and craftsmanship. The outdoor event will be held below The Phoenician Tavern on the golf breezeway, overlooking the golf course.

A variety of food and beverage stations will showcase small bites from The Phoenician Tavern, coupled with beer and spirit pairings.

Station 1: Seared New York with malted caramel and chili, paired with AZ Loc-Ale Toasty Amber Lager and SanTan Caramellow Salted Caramel Whiskey.

Station 2: Sea Bass Ceviche with Meyer lemon, cilantro, and Fresno, paired with SanTan Juicy Jack Hazy IPA and Saint Anne’s Citrus Rose Gin.

Station 3: Bacon wrapped dates with maple whiskey reduction and chili goat cheese, paired with SanTan LumberJack Oatmeal Amber and CinnaMaple Whiskey.

Station 4: Roasted vegetable tart with roasted red onion, baby carrots, asparagus, oven-dried tomatoes, and queso fresco, paired with SanTan Playlist Kolsch and Sacred Stave American Single Malt Whiskey.

Station 5: Tiramisu paired with SanTan Winter Warmer Strong Ale and Sacred Stave American Single Malt Whiskey.

A lively event, there will be a glow in the dark putting contest, raffles for prizes, cigars available for purchase, live music, and gift bags for attendees. Many of the beers and spirits will also be available to purchase and enjoy at home. The Taste of Tavern Beer Fest is $75+ per person.
