UnderTow Tiki Drink Seminars

Come set sail with the UnderTow team and embark on its first educational voyages of the year. “You Can’t Spell Beachcomber Without M.O.B.” with Jason T. Smith takes place Jan. 14 at UnderTow Arcadia and Jan. 15 at UnderTow Gilbert.
Hosted by Jason T. Smith (a k a “America’s No. thrifter”), these seminars will take guests on a journey through the ledgers of the “founding father” of tiki culture, Don the Beachcomber, unveiling how a little tropical bar in Hollywood led to a business deal with the Chicago Mob, thus giving birth to a tiki empire in the Windy City. During the seminar, enjoy three of UnderTow’s beloved classic cocktails inspired by Don the Beachcomber –– the Missionary’s Downfall, Never Say Die and the Nui Nui.
UnderTow Arcadia: Saturday, Jan. 14, at 12:30 to 2 p.m.
UnderTow Gilbert: Sunday, Jan. 15, at 12 to 1:30 p.m.
Tickets for the seminar are $75 per person. In addition to receiving the three cocktails, each ticket price includes a bottle of Bacardi Superior Rum and a recipe card for all the recipes so you can recreate the drinks at home.
