The party will spill out onto 6th Street, from Mill Avenue to Maple Street starting bright and early at the crack of 6 a.m. Thursday through 2 a.m. the next morning. Bagpipes, Irish dancers and surprises will accompany the ever-popular green beer, Murphy’s, Guinness and 6 beer trucks. What’s more, two Arizona-based bands that rarely perform together, The Brazen Heads and The Celtic Cowboys will entertain revelers starting at 6 p.m.

West Addison, a Chicago sports bar at DC Ranch Market Street in North Scottsdale, is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day block party from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 a.m. The fun will start inside the sports-themed restaurant with a DJ and March Madness, spilling outdoors onto the scenic Plaza on Market Street with festive green fountains and a lively line-up of bands, food and entertainment. Family fun will run from 3 to 7 p.m., with a cast of clowns, face painters, balloon artists, cotton candy, snow cones, games and live music. R.T. O’Sullivan’s, a sports bar with two locations in Mesa and one in Glendale, is hosting an indoor/outdoor St. Patrick’s Day party on March 17. O’Donoghue’s Irish Pub in North Scottsdale is kicking off St. Patrick’s Day at 6 a.m. with Irish Dancers and Strolling Musicians with a live TV broadcast. Live music on an outdoor stage under a tent starts at 11 a.m. with Traditional Irish Music from Ally and the Boys, then Irish Music and Celtic Rock with Booya at 3 p.m., finishing with popular local band EastonAshe at 7 p.m. The party moves inside at 9 p.m. with High Energy Rock and Roll from Scottsdale’s Elvis Before Noon. There will be a $10 cover starting at noon.

Keegan’s Grill and Taproom

Keegan’s Grill and Taproom, an Irish pub with locations in Phoenix, Chandler and Ahwatukee, will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with $1 green beers beginning at 3:17p.m., and ending 31.7 minutes later. For the rest of the night, the bar is serving up Bud Light and Ultra draft beers for $2.75, along with a beef and cabbage lunch special for $9.95, and a corned beef and cabbage dinner special, which includes an Irish potato soup or house salad, for $11.95. St. Patrick’s Day T-shirts will be handed out through the night.

Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery, an Irish pub with multiple locations in the Phoenix area, hosts its biggest party of the year, complete with live music, green beer to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The Tilted Kilt will offer Irish food specials, including corned beef and cabbage. The bar will hold a canned-food drive to benefit St. Vincent De Paul charities on March 17. Tempe Beach Park’s 2011 St. Patricks Day Bash featuring Irish band Flogging Molly will begin at 4:00 p.m. on March 17. Other bands performing that night are Moneybrother and The Drowning Men. Tickets are $35 if purchased in advanced, $40 the day of the event.

St. Patty’s Day Block Party in Old Town Scottsdale

The St. Patty’s Day Block Party at Craftsman Court District in Old Town Scottsdale will include 4 bars: ACME, Dos Gringos, White House and Upper Deck. There will be 2 stages with live music and 5 DJs. The cost to enter this block party will be $10 or $20 for cover plus 4 beers (available until 10pm). Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
