What is Tomaso Maggiore’s Story?
It has always been Tomaso Maggiore’s mission to address authentic Italian customs and make a place for those traditions in America. He started his culinary journey when he founded his first concept, Tomaso’s Italian Restaurant, 35 years ago. He launched his latest restaurant concept Vivo! Ristorante in Scottsdale in September 2014, which exemplifies a modern take on classic Italian food and is a popular destination for the after-work social crowd.
Tomaso loves to spend his free time visiting various vegetable farms around the country to source fresh ingredients for his entrees. His favorites are the tomato farm in Modesto, California and the artichoke farm in Mesa. He uses the finest ingredients, innovative recipes and latest techniques to incorporate the true essence of Italy in every bite of his dishes.
