First job: I worked at a frozen yogurt shop here in Phoenix. My favorite memory from that experience is definitely the free fro yo!
Favorite AZ restaurant: My favorite restaurant is Chelsea’s Kitchen, I love the food and the ambiance. My husband and I love to sit on the patio and enjoy a pitcher of their Sangria.
Person who has impacted your life the most: My husband and my two sons. My husband has been by my side since I was 17 and has helped me raise my two wonderful kids, Larry (17) and Evan (13). My husband motivates me when I am feeling discouraged and he is always the first to recognize my accomplishments.
Your biggest accomplishment in your eyes: My biggest accomplishments would be my amazing family and children and then of course my business, which was recently chosen by PhotoShelter as one of the Top 5 Event Photographer’s in the world.
The biggest obstacle you have overcome: Balancing family and running a business.
Someone who inspires you: My Dad – he always taught me to be grateful and to appreciate the little things in life.

Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Learn about the business side of photography. You can be an amazingly talented photographer but you will need to know how to run a business. Also, take every chance you get to gain experience and practice your art – you can never stop improving!
What makes someone fabulous: A positive attitude and a smile go a long way! I think the most fabulous people are those who dedicate their lives to helping others.
