First job: My entrepreneurial skills were formed at a very young age when I started delivering the PennySaver at age seven. In addition, along with my delivery gig, my brothers and I started our own door-to-door car wash service!
Favorite AZ restaurant: Tarbells Tavern and Tarbells. The food is amazing and never disappoints, service is excellent and the “scenery” is the best!!
Person who has impacted your life the most: My grandmother… hands down! She ran a ranch in Chihuahua, Mexico, had an Apothecary and was a mid-wife and loved by all that knew her. She lovingly passed down her wisdom and passion for helping and caring for others.
Your biggest accomplishment in your eyes: Being the first person in my family to attend college. From there I became a dental hygienist, and that was the stepping stone to my ALINE Skincare practice of 10 years. After working on my client’s skin, incorporating my own custom skincare facial treatment known as The Method by ALINE, I realized the need for products that would help balance the harsh environment in the Southwest. This lead to my creation of my own proprietary skincare product line, ALINE Scottsdale, specifically formulated for dry climate of the Southwest.
The biggest obstacle you have overcome: Self-funding of my two businesses, but it has been worth The Journey!
Someone who inspires you: My right-hand man, my brother, Eric and our mascot, Cheeky the Chihuahua! Eric’s personal journey has been very challenging and yet he has overcome each obstacle in his path. Because of his journey, when I face challenging obstacles, I know I can overcome them as well.
