First job: I dedicated my whole career for 10 years to children with mental disabilities or disorders. I specialized in autism as a behavioral therapist.

Favorite AZ restaurant: This is probably the hardest question for me to answer because I have such a complex palette and love farm to table cooking at home. It constantly changes between The Mission, Maple and Ash, Ocean 44, and Obon. Those are my go-to’s for dinner… now if we are talking brunch I love Sanctuary and I’m obsessed with the Canal Club (they have the cutest atmosphere and it’s easy to get reservations as it’s a hidden gem.). I always eat at Kaleidoscope for lunch – I love the vibe and how clean everything is in all the smoothies. I’m located in the First Ave location so it’s easy to drink my meals when I’m booked solid with clients, lol.

Person who has impacted your life the most: By far my father. He runs a multi-million dollar construction company in the Bay Area. He is a workhorse with a humble and can-do attitude. Always kind and easy-going but productive and motivated to get things done the right way.

Your biggest accomplishment in your eyes: Does taming my wild mustang of a boyfriend count? Kidding! For me, it was making the leap to move to Arizona and starting my entire life over. I knew nobody and had no history in aesthetics. I enrolled into Penrose academy in 2016, divorced my husband, and moved permanently here on a whim and I never looked back! My success has been all on my own, and it’s honestly what probably makes me so passionate and dedicated because I have no room for failure.

The biggest obstacle you have overcome: Making that choice and leap of faith. It was terrifying. I had no friends or family here and I was literally starting over at 32 years old. But I pushed through the anxiety and I am surrounded by people who I never thought existed on earth. My business Evolve has definitely “evolved,” and I couldn’t ask for anything else. Hands-down best decision I’ve made in my life.

Favorite quote: “The people who were trying to make this world worse are not taking the day off. Why should I?”

Someone who inspires you: Oh my gosh, this is so hard. I’m obsessed with Gwyneth Paltrow because she has withstood a humble attitude with all her success. She maintains a healthy lifestyle and her podcast and skin line is absolute goals. I love her. I’m also obsessing over Kenneth Soares lately. I love his meditation classes and his easy-going personality when it comes to feeding the soul. Some healers can be a little “boujie” and judgy and he is so relaxed about it all. It speaks to me.

What you think makes someone fabulous: Anyone who is true to their character. Who speaks truths and doesn’t conform to what they surround themselves with. I truly have built a life free of judgment and it takes a pure soul to wake every morning loving all people. We are all unique and fabulous in our own ways. I’m weird, and I love that trait of mine.
