Fab Foodie: Gluten Free Travel Girl

True to its name, Gluten Free Travel Girl is a blog and brand dedicated to showcasing the best gluten-free finds both locally and around the world. Ali Dugaw, the brand’s founder, transitioned to a gluten-free lifestyle to cope with chronic migraines. Now, she’s sharing her love of authentically good food with her tuned-in audience.

Best hidden food gem in Arizona: Limoncello Pizzeria Napoletana in Prescott. It’s a cozy, romantic spot and they make gluten-free gnocchi that’s to die for.

Advice for someone looking to build a meaningful digital following: I’m still learning myself but I pride myself on always creating my own content, being authentic, responding quickly and supporting others. There’s plenty of pie for everyone!

A Valley-based chef or restaurateur who inspires you and why: I especially admire female chefs. Samantha Sanz of elements, born and raised in Mexico, making her dreams come true at one of the best restaurants in the state. Aurore De Beauduy at Sapiens, opening an entirely Paleo restaurant fueled by her own health concerns, changing the way people think about nutrition.

What would you like to see more of in the Arizona food scene: Experimenting with alternative flours: almond, amaranth, cassava, etc. There are so many naturally gluten-free options out there and I hope to see more in the future!
