Hometown: Huntington Beach, California.

First job: When I was a teenager, I worked as the assistant to the director of a homeless shelter.

Favorite ways to spend your free time in AZ: With my family. I have two boys who play tackle football, which keeps me super busy! My husband and I are foodies and love finding and trying out new restaurants. We recently discovered Elliot’s Steakhouse in Chandler and are obsessed.

Your biggest accomplishment and why: Professionally: Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of salons—some great, others that highlighted the challenges and flaws in our industry. Opening Studio Linea is my proudest professional accomplishment because it represents years of dedication and a commitment to fixing what was broken. I wanted to create a space that challenges outdated practices, elevates the beauty industry, and ensures stylists and clients feel empowered, cared for, and truly valued. Seeing that vision start to come to life has been incredibly rewarding.

Personally:  My greatest accomplishment is raising my two boys and stepping in to raise my younger sister when she was 14. Balancing motherhood with being my sister’s role model and caretaker was both challenging and deeply rewarding. At 27, my sister has grown into an incredible person who overcame so much. Watching all three of them grow into such amazing individuals has been the most fulfilling part of my life.

The biggest obstacle you overcame: Balancing my passion for my career with being a mom has been one of my biggest challenges. I can be a workaholic, pouring my heart into my salon and craft, but I’ve learned to prioritize spending quality time with my kids.

Someone who inspires you and why:  My husband inspires me with his unwavering support and encouragement for me and my career. He has been an incredible partner, creating a foundation that allows me to pursue my professional goals with confidence and focus.

Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Stay curious, embrace continuous education, and focus on building genuine connections. Success in this industry is more than just your hair skills. Your clients will come to you for who you are not just what you do.

Favorite quote: “Esse quam videri (To be, rather than to seem).” —Marcus Tullius Cicero

Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: I spent several of my younger years traveling and living all over the world with my family until I was 10. I’ve lived in Guatemala, India, Nepal, Thailand, and Spain. Spanish was my first language. My parents moved to Guatemala when I was six weeks old.

What makes someone fabulous: What makes someone fabulous is living authentically and unapologetically true to who they are—and, of course, always having red lipstick on hand.
