First job: I was a barista at a small cafe! I had never had a sip of coffee before this job, so I didn’t even know if the coffee I was making tasted good lol

Favorite AZ restaurant: Farm & Craft for brunch because it’s close to my gym and I love their eggs. Modern Market for lunch because it’s quick, easy and healthy. Doughbird or Sumo Maya for dinner! Both have great cocktails and a fun atmosphere.

Person who has impacted your life the most: My dad! He’s so smart and helpful, but he’s honestly just super friendly. He makes everyone he talks to feel special (but I’m the most special, of course).

Your biggest accomplishment in your eyes: Hitting 6 figures in my first year of business!

The biggest obstacle you have overcome: Hm this is a hard one. About 5 months into my business, I had grown too fast and had taken on way too many clients. I lost a couple clients that month because I just couldn’t keep with the demand. But! I learned a lot from it, hired an assistant to take some work off of my plate, and have been steadily (and healthily) growing ever since!

Someone who inspires you: Sara Blakely! She’s the owner of Spanx. I love how much fun she has with her business and brand, while still impacting the lives of women and giving back to the community.

Favorite quote: “We can’t become what we need by remaining what we are” – Oprah

Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Take online courses throughout the year to stay on top of social media trends & changes. Hire a mentor. See a therapist. Being self-employed is no easy task!

What you think makes someone fabulous: If they’re shamelessly and proudly themselves.
