Fabulous People: Brad Perry

Brad Perry has been waking people up for over 20 years on morning television and is a very familiar face here in Arizona. In 1998, he was given an opportunity at KTVK Arizona’s Family Channel on “Good Morning Arizona” he could not refuse. After 9 years with the successful morning show, Brad had the opportunity to wake up San Diego on KUSI’s “Good Morning San Diego” for over 7 years. He is now back in Phoenix as the host of AZTV Channel 7’s “Arizona Daily Mix.” Learn more about Brad Perry…

Hometown: Battle Creek, MI (Cereal Capital of the World)

First job: I picked up dead bodies with my dad then got a job scooping ice cream at Henry’s Ice Cream. (note: Brad’s dad was a mortician)

Favorite AZ restaurant: Mercbar. All you need is a good cocktail, goldfish and friends – that is my kind of dinner.

Person who has impacted your life the most: My children. They make me work to be a better person each day.

Your biggest accomplishment in your eyes: Producing/ Hosting my own show (Brad’s Big Adventure’s) when nobody thought I could do it.

The biggest obstacle you have overcome: Myself. Once I became a better person, the doors started opening.

Someone who inspires you: My kids inspire me. To see them follow their dreams make me continue to follow my own.

Favorite quote: “You will make more money doing what you love, than doing what others expect you to do” -Oprah

Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Don’t chase the money, chase the fun and the money will come.

What you think makes someone fabulous: A person who uses their talent for good. Like Cynthia Sassi.
