Chad Nikkel is the President / CEO of Aquaman Pools, LLC and Aqua Touch Pool Purification. Aqua Touch Pool Purification literally takes thousands of gallons of pool water out of a backyard pool, purifies it and filters the same, (now clean) water back in—saving tons of water and making it safe to drink (before the chemicals are added back in of course!). Who has impacted your life the most: A past mentor of mine once told me “Care less about what others think of you and more about the positive impact you can have on others” that stuck with me. Mentors have been a great influence in my life
Your biggest accomplishment in your eyes: Raising a great well rounded kid. He’s way smarter than me and works hard. Proud of what he is becoming.
The biggest obstacle you have overcome: Lost my first company in bankruptcy. Had some serious struggles in life very early on partially due to this. Came back stronger and more focused in life and do not make the same mistakes now.
Favorite quote: Happiness is a direction not a place.
Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Being an entrepreneur is a journey there will be ups and downs. Stay focused but don’t be afraid to pivot.
What you think makes someone fabulous: Vulnerability and willingness to really connect. Real vulnerability is a superpower.
