Hometown: Chicago.

First job: I worked at McDonald’s making shakes–I got fired for making them too heavy.

Favorite ways to spend your free time in AZ: Finding new places to eat, golfing, and going to our shows.

Your biggest accomplishment and why: Still being in business. There are a lot of latecomers to the concert-promoting party in the USA with deeper pockets, which makes it difficult to do the right thing all the time.

The biggest obstacle you overcame: The first five years of making a name for myself, eating dirt the whole time.

Someone who inspires you and why: So many people, I have met the best of the best. Shep Gordon, Alice Cooper, and John Prine come to mind.

Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Find something else with less risk; there’s a lot of opportunity out there.

Favorite quote: “That guy on third base thinks he got there because he hit a triple.” –Barry Switzer

Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: I want to have an Ed Sullivan show of my own.

What makes someone fabulous: Someone who is direct and gets straight to the point.
