Hometown: I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, but now live in Phoenix.
First job: My first “official” job was to sing “The Star Spangled Banner” for an Arizona Rattlers Game. (This was a non-paid job, as I never accept payment to sing the national anthem — it’s my way of honoring our country and the brave men and women who serve it.)
Favorite ways to spend your free time in AZ: Playing my guitar, songwriting, and hanging out with my family, friends, and my dog, Sunny. Also, there’s nothing like catching a desert sunset for inspiration.
Your biggest accomplishment and why: Writing and recording my first original song, “First Rodeo.” It was a dream come true to take an idea from my heart and turn it into something real that people can listen to and connect with.
The biggest obstacle you overcame: Being young in the music industry can be tough because people sometimes don’t take you seriously. But I’ve learned that your passion will always shine through if you work hard, stay true to yourself, and keep pushing forward.
Someone who inspires you and why: Lainey Wilson—she worked so hard to get where she is and never gave up on herself. I love how she stays true to her sound and her roots.
Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Start now. You’re never too young to chase your dreams. Write songs, play as much as you can, and don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. Every artist starts somewhere.
Favorite quotes: “Find out who you are and do it on purpose.” –Dolly Parton
“If you’re going to be a dreamer, you better be a doer.” –Lainey Wilson
Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: I can do celebrity impressions of artists like Celine Dion, Shakira, Christina Aguilera, Dolly Parton, and Britney Spears.
What makes someone fabulous: Confidence, kindness, and staying true to yourself—no matter what.
