Hometown: Phoenix

First job: Working retail at Abercrombie & Fitch. They call their store employees “models” (which I thought was strange). But I learned quickly that it was all part of the brand, creating a vibe that pulls in their target market. The brand image sold the clothes before customers ever walked through the door.

Favorite ways to spend your free time in AZ: What is free time? Haha. You’ll probably find me out for happy hour, boxing at the gym, or hanging out with my dog, Stetson, at a great local coffee shop or dog park.

Your biggest accomplishment and why: Building this business, not just because it’s successful, but because I refused to give up after my previous ventures failed. I committed fully to myself when I had nothing, and by the grace of God, I succeeded. The job is far from finished, but now I understand what I can overcome. There is great power in that realization.

The biggest obstacle you overcame: Transitioning from a traditional sales mindset to one based entirely on relationships and genuine connections. Salespeople are trained to treat a “lead” like a number, when the reality is, there’s a complex person on the other end of that phone – with their own goals, fears, and criteria as layered as yours. How do you systemize a way actually to connect with people as people? That was the question, and my team is dedicated to the answer. Early on, it was a tough leap of faith, but now it’s what sets me apart in a crowded industry.

Someone who inspires you and why: Mike Michalowicz authored a book titled Profit First, which has significantly transformed my life. The introduction, detailing the challenges he faced, deeply resonated with me and reflected my own circumstances. By applying the lessons from his book, I have been able to make substantial improvements in both my personal life and my business.

Regarding people I know, my first mentor in real estate is Karl Freund. He’s overcome massive financial hits, near-death health issues, and more, bouncing back more resilient each time.

Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Real estate is an extremely tough career. One transaction may be easy, but doing this full-time takes tremendous grit. Always pursue new business. Never underestimate the power of authenticity and storytelling. Be real, consistently deliver value, and prioritize relationships over transactions.

Favorite quote: “Success is not owned; it’s rented, and rent is due every day.” — Rory Vaden

Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: I was a big academic in school growing up. I even won my middle-school school spelling bee.

What makes someone fabulous: Confidence paired with kindness, genuine authenticity, and the relentless pursuit of their passions.
