First job: A bunch of the kids at my high school in Denver worked at a carwash so I thought that’d be a good summer gig. The people were cool and the tips were nice but the only facial hair I was allowed, was a mustache so obviously, that was unsustainable. Once the novelty of the mustache wore off, I had to turn in my Dickie’s and focus all my efforts back to hockey stuff which was what I was actually pursuing until I was 18.
Favorite AZ restaurant: This is a tough one. Obviously Steak 44 and Ocean 44 are unreal but I did just had a calzone from Grimaldi’s that would probably knock your socks off. I ate the whole thing, so I guess it depends on the mood as to which my favorite is.
Person who has impacted your life the most: Both of my parents. Those two have been through some stuff that would have ripped most people to shreds but they just always did what they had to and made sure my brother and I never missed out on any opportunities.
Your biggest accomplishment in your eyes: I have a really hard time with realizing when a professional accomplishment comes up because I really have a lot I want to do and a long ways to go so, awards, recognitions and stuff like that in the meantime don’t feel as cool or stand out as an accomplishment, I guess. However personally, I am heavily involved with Childhelp, world renowned leaders in education, awareness and advocacy for children in efforts to end child abuse and neglect. So any project I am able to work on for them, I consider a great accomplishment.
The biggest obstacle you have overcome: Getting cut like a week after I got to Sarnia, Ontario, to play in the Ontario Hockey League. Up until that point, I never would have thought that I wasn’t going to be a hockey player for the rest of my life. Which, should have been alarming because by no means was I a “skilled guy.” I was what you would call, a “nice guy, tries hard, loves the game,” nonetheless, I was a determined kid. I was pretty checked out the next year and decided to “hang em up” after the season was done. Climbing out from the bad depression I had fallen into has given me a lot of the strength I need because it was through that, I was able to find purpose.
Someone who inspires you: Elon Musk is a huge inspiration for me. His ability to care so deeply about life and humanity that far into the future is something so incredible and so relevant to what I do with finance. I want to make sure that if we’re good today, we will also be good in 100 years, 200 years, how ever many years humans are aloud to walk on Earth and or Mars.

Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Be a sponge and learn as much as you can because knowledge is true power in this business. Also, do the corny things everyone says, there is a reason most successful people have good routines, good attitudes and good work ethics. All of those things are common denominators for success and overall wellbeing in my opinion.
What you think makes someone fabulous: I think living for other people by becoming the best version of ourselves would be the way to qualify for fabulousness but continuing to get better everyday is what will keep you in the state of fabulous.
