Hometown: Phoenix, AZ
First job: I started with a lemonade stand, but my first tax-paying job was at Print Distribution AZ.
Favorite ways to spend your free time in AZ: I love spending time with my wife and son at any sports event or dining out at local restaurants. I enjoy going to the gym, watching sports, and hanging out with my friends and family. My wife is an amazing balloon stylist (@alwaysbpoppin) and a great mother. My son loves sports and loves our two dogs, Dublin and Earl. He also loves playing with his three cousins.
Your biggest accomplishment and why: Becoming a father so I can leave a legacy for him. I believe these companies we run are going to be just that.
The biggest obstacle you overcame: COVID was tough for all our restaurants and food trucks when businesses suddenly came to a halt.
Someone who inspires you and why: My father’s work ethic and my mother’s hustle. My mom was in real estate and always worked hard on her online retail business, Turquoise Therapy. Now, being a father, I appreciate their sacrifices even more.
Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Adapt or die. When we started with the first food truck, we never thought in our wildest dreams we would have all these concepts thriving. My best advice is to never burn a bridge, opportunities come around when you least expect it.
Favorite quote: “This too shall pass.” —Abraham Lincoln
Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: We own 10 percent of a racehorse! It was not the greatest investment, but she has been winning, and it’s amazing to watch.
What makes someone fabulous: Their personality and their intentions.
