Your biggest accomplishment and why: This past year has been challenging for all of us, but as a small business we had to decide if we were all-in or all-out. Deciding to take on the challenge of entirely redesigning our business model during a pandemic was no easy feat, but making it through to the other side has been extremely rewarding and we can’t wait to see where our growth takes us next.
The biggest obstacle you overcame: The biggest obstacle I’ve overcome was earning my undergraduate degree on my own. This was challenging, but by working two jobs and a lot of determination, I still graduated by my goal year!
Someone who inspires you and why: Every time I have the pleasure of working a day with our medical director, Dr. Ashley Chung, I am inspired by her. She embodies several qualities that I recognize as my areas of weakness and she is able to share experience in fields outside of my own. By collaborating with someone different than myself, I am able to develop my leadership and entrepreneurship skills further.
Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Always maintain a learning mindset and approach everything with curiosity and empathy.
