First job:
Sam: I was a hostess at a Wine Bar, I worked there for almost two years, I’m grateful for my time in the food service industry because it taught me amazing customer service skills and how to deal with many different personalities.
Lauren: I was a personal shopper for Anthropologie for three years and worked my way up as Manager in just a year and was in charge of the store inventory. I learned so much about the fashion industry and high end customer service.
Favorite AZ restaurant:
Sam: Culinary Dropout the Yard. There is nothing better then being able to catch up with friends and enjoy good food while being in the fun laid back environment.
Lauren: Hanny’s, I’m obsessed with the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza and an extra dirty martini. The food and the atmosphere make for the best nights out.
Person who has impacted your life the most:
Sam and Lauren: We both agree that the person who has impacted us the most is each other. This company would not be possible if we did not have each other to lean on. The Beauty industry can be very intimidating and it is hard to find genuine friends in it. We both truly want the best for each other and are each others biggest supporter.
Your biggest accomplishment in your eyes: Our biggest accomplishment would have to be how much we have achieved in just our first year, including being named among the top 100 influential women to do business with in the Valley. Having multiple photoshoots being published nationally and internationally. As well as working along side companies such as R+Co, Seven Haircare, and JZ Styles Co Extensions.
The biggest obstacle you have overcome: Not letting outsiders opinions affect us. We are both huge dreamers and have so many big goals and others can be quick to tell us they will never happen. We have had to learn to overcome negative comments and never stop believing in our potential.
Someone who inspires you: Jen Atkin, she is a celebrity hairstylist turned CEO of two major companies Ouai Haircare and ManeAddicts. We got the chance to learn and meet her this past November and it was so refreshing to meet someone who has accomplished so much and is still so humble.

Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Don’t give up, be a yes person, hit the ground running, and know your worth. Master your craft and never stop learning. Nothing great happens over night, you have to take every opportunity that comes your way to make connections and push yourself outside your comfort zone.
What you think makes someone fabulous: Someone who is their most authentic self, hard working, dedicated in life and of course a good blowout never hurts.
